Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Stacey lands but Quid takes it in his stride.
Quid lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Quid shoots in but Stacey avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Stacey throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Quid was covering up waiting for the punch and Stacey finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Quid looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Stacey won't allow Quid to sweep him here.
Stacey slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Quid looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stacey is one step ahead there.
Quid keeping moving, preventing Stacey from controlling successfully.
Stacey thows a big elbow that misses.

Stacey trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Stacey is trying to control. Quid wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Quid is looking for a sweep. Stacey is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Stacey lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Quid manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Quid is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Stacey's half guard.
Stacey moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Quid drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stacey looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stacey looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stacey!
Stacey is trying to get an arm triangle but Quid is defending well.
Stacey is breathing heavily.
Quid tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Stacey throws an elbow but Quid slips to the side and avoids it well.
Quid sneaks back into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stacey thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Quid to regain full guard.
Quid manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Quid stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Stacey wants to clinch up but Quid keeps it at a distance.
Quid throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Stacey on the side of the head.
Quid misses with a series of wild punches.
Quid throws a body punch but Stacey moves out of range.
Stacey takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Stacey tries a head kick but it misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Quid darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Quid looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Stacey!
Stacey keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Quid goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Stacey is on top in guard.

Quid working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stacey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stacey manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Quid keeping moving, preventing Stacey from controlling successfully.
Quid manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Quid has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Stacey is forced to tap!
