The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong tries to score a power double leg takedown but Riddell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Armstrong somewhat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Armstrong.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Riddell pulls Armstrong into guard.
Riddell pushes Armstrong off and gets back to his feet.
Armstrong takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Riddell is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Armstrong shoots for a takedown but Riddell saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buckley Armstrong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Armstrong avoids the head kick by Riddell.
Riddell lands a big head kick that sends Armstrong tumbling to the mat! Riddell takes a step backwards and waves Armstrong back to his feet - he wants the finish!
