Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Blazin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickhard Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blazin comes into the arena with SMK - Smart drag Mr.Christer blaring out of the sound system. Rickhard Smith has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Eddie Blazin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blazin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Smith's guard.
Blazin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground.
Blazin drops back looking for a leg! Smith is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Smith manages to kick Blazin off! Blazin jumps back into Smith's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Smith is on top in guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

and Blazin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith wants to get back to full guard.
Blazin is breathing heavily.
Smith is looking to control Blazin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Smith avoid being mounted?

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
No joy there for Blazin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Smith counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Blazin's guard now.

Smith thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Blazin to regain full guard.

Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blazin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Blazin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Smith doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Smith manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Blazin can't keep his opponent in guard - Smith advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

That was a close round but I would say that Eddie Blazin will probably get the nod.

Smith is posturing up here but Blazin has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Smith tries to roll out but it's too tight and Smith has to tap! Slick submission there by Blazin!
