Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Easton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ned Schnidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Mark Easton has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Easton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ned Schnidt! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Easton misses its intended target. Schnidt moves out of range of the body kick from Easton.
Easton throws a solid leg kick but Schnidt takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Easton. Schnidt slips under a jab. Easton throws a body punch but Schnidt moves out of range. Schnidt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Easton.
Schnidt darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Easton wants to get back to his feet. Schnidt trying to mount his opponent but Easton defends it. Schnidt working Easton over with strikes. Schnidt is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Easton sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schnidt is looking to pass Easton's guard but actually Easton recovers to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Easton wants to stand but Schnidt is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schnidt connects with a couple of short punches. Schnidt is looking to advance position but Easton has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Schnidt controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Schnidt regains half guard. Easton stands up and beckons Schnidt to join him on the feet. Schnidt fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Easton misses the shot to the body. Schnidt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Easton throws out the jab. Easton scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Ned Schnidt has been cut. Schnidt slips a jab from Easton.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schnidt shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Schnidt looks gassed! Easton throws a jab but it's blocked by Schnidt. Easton jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Schnidt throws a head kick but Easton moves out of range.
Schnidt tries to close the distance and clinch but Easton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Easton works Schnidt's body with a nice hook. Easton goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Easton scores with a one two! Schnidt had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Easton scores with a hook to the body. Schnidt takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Easton comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Schnidt walks into a stiff left hand from Easton. Easton scores with a crisp jab that stopped Schnidt in his tracks. Easton connects with a body shot. Easton throws a right and a left that both miss. Easton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Schnidt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Easton lands a glancing blow to the side of Schnidt's head. Easton misses with a hook. Schnidt shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Schnidt was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Schnidt goes for an armbar but Easton turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Easton. Easton stands up from guard. Let's bang! Mark Easton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Easton defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Schnidt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Easton dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ned Schnidt's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Easton connects with a looping right hand.
Schnidt is rocked! Schnidt showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Easton.
Schnidt is still on wobbly legs! Can Easton finish him? Easton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Easton jabbing away but nothing is landing. Schnidt seems to have recovered his senses. It's a brutal combination of punches from Easton! Schnidt is backing up but he can't get away as Easton lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Schnidt and ends the fight. Great knockout.
