Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Bogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mario houston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bogan comes to the cage accompanied by ti-hurt. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Bogan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, mario houston! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Lou da Vinci and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bogan shoots in but houston avoids the takedown attempt easily. houston gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bogan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for houston! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. houston is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Bogan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. houston wants to try and get back to his feet. Bogan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Bogan is in the full mount, landing strikes. houston somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! houston tries for a takedown but Bogan circles away easily and Bogan counters with a takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! houston is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bogan has just dragged him back down to the mat. houston looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bogan moves into full mount! Bogan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. houston defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bogan. Bogan looking to control and managing it successfully. Bogan with the ground and pound from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. houston is bucking up trying to escape but Bogan cracks him with another couple of good strikes. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if houston can do anything to dispel that myth. Bogan content just to control the position here. houston is in a horrible position here. Bogan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bogan looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. houston wants to try and get back to his feet. A nice elbow there by Bogan. Bogan won't let houston get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bogan with a couple of short strikes. houston's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

houston shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bogan counters with a single leg into guard. houston didn't expect that. Bogan stops houston from standing up. Bogan pushing down on houston's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. houston tries to kick Bogan off in order to stand up. Bogan Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. houston tries to escape back to his feet but Bogan has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got houston's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! houston is tapping! Bogan saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
