Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Barton Mylingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Motoo Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Motoo Kimura enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Barton Mylingo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Motoo Kimura! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mylingo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mylingo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kimura avoids it really well and circles away. Mylingo keeps the fight on the outside. Kimura misses with a straight left. Kimura misses the shot to the body. Mylingo throws a right and a left that Kimura avoids nicely. Mylingo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Kimura trying to control but Mylingo is working from the bottom. Kimura with a flurry of punches that miss. Kimura throws and elbow that misses. Mylingo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kimura's guard. Nice move by Mylingo! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kimura working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mylingo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mylingo manages to get himself to full guard.
Kimura is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Mylingo keeping moving, preventing Kimura from controlling successfully. Mylingo keeping full guard, as Kimura tries to pass. Kimura trying to control but Mylingo is working from the bottom. Mylingo wants to get back to his feet but Kimura is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Mylingo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kimura on the ground. Kimura looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kimura stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mylingo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mylingo is looking to stand up but Kimura isn't so interested in that idea.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kimura decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Mylingo is in trouble now - Kimura has advanced to mount! Kimura controlling his opponent. Mylingo wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimura trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kimura controlling from the full mount. Mylingo is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kimura controlling the pace for now. Kimura trying to control but Mylingo is having none of it. Kimura thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Kimura controlling his opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kimura throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Motoo Kimura dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Mylingo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kimura. A punch combination from Mylingo misses. Mylingo shoots and misses and Kimura counters by clinching up. A head punch blocked on the inside by Mylingo. Kimura is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Mylingo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mylingo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mylingo throws a body kick that misses. A head kick misses from Kimura. Mylingo tries to bum rush Kimura with a series of wild strikes but Kimura uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kimura takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Mylingo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kimura circles away quickly and effectively. Kimura throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mylingo. Mylingo with a lazy takedown attempt and Kimura counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kimura is pressing down on Mylingo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mylingo is holding on for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kimura not doing much here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kimura is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mylingo is just riding it out for now. Kimura eventually gives up the hold. Kimura is trying to control. Mylingo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kimura uses his free foot to push down on Mylingo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mylingo. Mylingo stops Kimura from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kimura controlling the pace for now. Kimura working for a submission but Mylingo is keeping him at bay. Kimura looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Kimura trying to control but Mylingo is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimura content just to control the position here. Kimura trying to control but Mylingo is having none of it. Mylingo is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Kimura locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Mylingo is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Motoo Kimura!
