Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Ferro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Gutierrez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gutierrez has chosen Hoy Gano Yo as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruno Ferro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luis Gutierrez!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferro moves out of range of the body kick from Gutierrez.
Ferro connects with a right hand. Gutierrez shakes it off.
Ferro looks to land a combination but Gutierrez avoids it well.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gutierrez.
Ferro takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ferro shoots in looking for a takedown. Gutierrez tries to sprawl out of it but Ferro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Gutierrez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gutierrez looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Ferro bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Gutierrez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ferro wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Ferro is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Gutierrez looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ferro gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Gutierrez is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ferro lets go of the hold and Gutierrez can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bruno Ferro!
