Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ludwig Longhorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slang Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Slang Bang enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ludwig Longhorn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Slang Bang! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bang throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Longhorn was covering up waiting for the punch and Bang finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bang working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bang must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bang throwing strikes from guard but Longhorn blocks nicely. Longhorn is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bang is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Longhorn is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Longhorn postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Bang to stand up. Bang has a takedown stuffed. Bang feints and as Longhorn raises his hands in defense, Bang changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bang trying to control but Longhorn is working from the bottom. Bang with a flurry of punches that miss. Longhorn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bang can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Longhorn is looking for a triangle but Bang pushes his legs off easily.
Longhorn looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Longhorn keeping moving, preventing Bang from controlling successfully. Bang with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Bang throws a big right hand that misses. Longhorn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bang manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Longhorn is breathing heavily. Longhorn bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bang's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bang is trying to keep Longhorn in close.
Bang is looking to stand up but Longhorn isn't so interested in that idea. Longhorn wants to control from the top but Bang keeps moving. Longhorn showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bang throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Longhorn passes Bang's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Longhorn perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Longhorn is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bang sees it coming and defends easily. Longhorn trying to control from half guard but Bang is working away. Bang punching from the bottom.

Longhorn is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Bang misses with some strikes from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bang can do anything to dispel that myth. Bang wants to improve his position but Longhorn is controlling well.
Bang tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Longhorn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Bang looking for a sweep. Not yet Bang, not yet. Longhorn stands and throws Bang's legs to the side, diving into side control. Bang tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Longhorn wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Longhorn trying to control the position but Bang is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. An elbow from Longhorn crashes against the mat.
Longhorn is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Bang looks calm but he's in trouble here. Longhorn gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Bang is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Longhorn lets go of the hold and Bang can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ludwig Longhorn!
