Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan McCarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoko Dokodo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoko Dokodo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan McCarthy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yoko Dokodo!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarthy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Some wild striking there from McCarthy.
McCarthy moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Yoko Dokodo has been cut.
Dokodo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Dokodo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McCarthy is fending him off so far but Dokodo persists. Nope, McCarthy circles away and we're back to standing.
Dokodo tries to score a power double leg takedown but McCarthy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dokodo somewhat.
McCarthy throws a series of punches but Dokodo avoids them all with ease.
Some bone on bone action there as Dokodo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Dokodo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
McCarthy punishes Dokodo's body with a nice straight punch.
Dokodo looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dokodo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
McCarthy lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by McCarthy.
McCarthy grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Dokodo takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! McCarthy cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ryan McCarthy!
