Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Piston Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dandy The Don (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Don comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sometime Around Midnight by The Airbourne Toxic Event kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honda throws a sloppy head kick and The Don moves out of range easily.
Honda misses with a double jab.
Honda loads up on a big right hand but The Don slips the punch.

Honda stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Honda wants it to stay on the feet.

The Don shoots in and drives through. Honda sprawls well.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Honda wants to stand up but The Don is controlling the position.

The Don closes this distance looking for a takedown but Honda circles away.

The Don is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Honda has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Honda!

The Don has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Honda can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The Don is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Honda is aware though and is defending well.

The Don fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Honda sprawls well initially but The Don persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Honda is staying active underneath The Don, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The Don throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Honda's waist but Honda gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The Don off to one side.

The Don shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Honda is squirming around, avoiding The Don's attempts to control the action.
Honda is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The Don wants to control the pace but Honda is squirming around nicely.

That was a close second round but I would say that Piston Honda will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Honda is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by The Don.

The Don bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The Don thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Honda knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Don on the ground.

The Don goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Honda has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for The Don but great work by Honda.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
