Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thai Bowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sakuraba darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Sakuraba trying to mount his opponent but Bowe defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bowe trying to control but Sakuraba postures up.
Bowe tries to get to full guard but Sakuraba has control of the leg.

Sakuraba trying to control the position from guard on top but Bowe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bowe has his foot on Sakuraba's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sakuraba works his way back into a safe position though.
Bowe wants to sweep but no luck.
Sakuraba slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Sakuraba looking to improve position, pressing down on Bowe's thigh with his hand. Bowe seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Sakuraba paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Sakuraba's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Bowe picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
