The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braincells tries to bum rush Crimmins with a series of wild strikes but Crimmins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Braincells shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Braincells was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Braincells avoids the attempt from Crimmins to control.
Braincells looking to control but Crimmins is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Braincells looking to secure an arm triangle but Crimmins defends it well.
Braincells goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Crimmins is on top in guard.
Crimmins postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Braincells had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Crimmins is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Braincells Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Crimmins's back instead.
Braincells is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Crimmins defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Crimmins trying to control the action but Braincells just sinks the hooks in.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Braincells has his foot on Crimmins's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Crimmins works his way back into a safe position though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Crimmins takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Aaden Crimmins has been cut.
Braincells lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
