Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Low!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Scofield!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scofield shoots in and bounces Low off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Low looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Scofield drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Scofield jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Scofield stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Low swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Scofield lands a really nice looking cross but Low seems unphased.
Scofield fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Scofield fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Low sprawls well initially but Scofield persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Scofield wants to work for an arm triangle but Low is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
