Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jasyn Zangari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Badam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zangari kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Just One Fix. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jasyn Zangari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sam Badam!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zangari throws a nice looking combination but Badam bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Badam throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Zangari blocks it with crossed arms.

Badam drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Zangari manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Badam has Zangari in his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Badam has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zangari can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Badam had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Zangari is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Badam Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Zangari's back instead.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Zangari is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Badam gets his way!
