Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Art Metroman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santiago de Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santiago de Silva struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 137.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Metroman. No joy for de Silva on that attempt.
Metroman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. de Silva sprawls well initially but Metroman persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
de Silva wants to control but Metroman is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Metroman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and de Silva defends it well.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Metroman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. de Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Metroman finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Metroman drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Metroman seems to have locked his on tight now - de Silva screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Metroman, as he picks up the win!
