Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nate Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Bay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes to the cage accompanied by Rancid-Last one to Die. Bay has chosen Feuer Frei as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bay wants to clinch.
Davis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Davis checks a low kick from Bay.
Thomas Bay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis scores with a hook.
Davis scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Davis scores with a decent looking hook.
Bay looks to land a body kick but Davis moved away.
Davis swats away the attempt to clinch by Bay.

Bay instigates a clinch.

Bay keeps control of Davis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Bay throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Davis blocks it with crossed arms.
With the fighters up against the cage, Bay throws an elbow but misses.
Bay comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Nate Davis has been cut.

Davis pulls guard successfully.

Davis looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bay loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Davis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bay doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bay manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bay is looking to work some ground and pound but Davis has wrist control.

Davis has his foot on Bay's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bay works his way back into a safe position though.

Bay has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bay is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Davis is defending well for now.
Bay tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Davis avoids it.
Bay lands an elbow that stopped Davis in his tracks for a moment.

Davis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bay walks away with a smile on his face. Davis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Davis keeps the fight on the outside.
Bay throws a leg kick but Davis sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Bay tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Davis lands with a nice combination. Bay backs away looking to recover.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bay lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Davis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Davis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Bay takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Bay tries to close the distance and clinch but Davis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bay throws a head kick but Davis moves out of range.

No joy there for Davis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Davis throws a nice outside leg kick.

Bay gets a clinch.
Davis tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bay just stands there and leans against the cage.
Bay tries to land knees in the clinch but Davis avoids the damage to the body.
Davis is looking to break free of the clinch but Bay has double underhooks.
Bay creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Davis's defenses.
Davis jumps guard but Bay stands there with Davis around his waist. Davis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nate Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Davis decides to pull guard.
