Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dae Jung Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tata Grendizer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dae Jung Kim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tata Grendizer! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grendizer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign! Grendizer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Grendizer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kim throws a right hand that Grendizer ducks under and follows up with a left that Grendizer also avoids with ease. Kim misses with a hook. Grendizer ducked under it nicely. Grendizer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kim falls off balance throwing a combination
and Grendizer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kim is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Grendizer is controlling him. Kim trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Grendizer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kim is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grendizer stops Kim from standing up. Grendizer trying to control but Kim is working from the bottom. Grendizer prevents Kim from getting back to his feet. Grendizer wants to control from the top but Kim keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Grendizer is defended easily by Kim. Dae Jung Kim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tata Grendizer. Kim throws a series of punches but Grendizer avoids them all with ease.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Grendizer jabs at Kim's body. Kim throws a hook but Grendizer blocks it. Kim circles away from the clinch attempt.
Grendizer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kim as he avoids it easily. Grendizer dives in and grabs Kim's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kim pushes down on Grendizer's head and hops out. Kim swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Grendizer counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kim won't be happy with that. Grendizer just content to control the position. Kim tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim wants to get back to his feet but Grendizer drags him back down. Grendizer working the ground and pound but Kim is defending the strikes. Kim wants to get back to his feet. Grendizer is looking to take a break and control but Kim is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kim tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kim is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Grendizer shoots in looking for a takedown. Kim tries to sprawl out of it but Grendizer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kim manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Grendizer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kim pinned against the cage. Kim gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kim rushes Grendizer and presses him up against the cage. Grendizer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Some wild striking there from Kim.
Grendizer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kim avoids it really well and circles away. Kim rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grendizer moves out of range and avoids them all easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tata Grendizer dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kim attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Grendizer tries to clinch up and Kim counters with a head kick. That will keep Grendizer thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Grendizer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kim paws at him with a jab and circles away. Grendizer tries to clinch up but Kim circles away and keeps his distance. Kim tries to clinch up. Grendizer fails with a takedown attempt. Grendizer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kim avoids it really well and circles away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grendizer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Grendizer shoots in and drives through. Kim sprawls well. Kim tries to clinch but fails miserably and Grendizer counters with a single leg into guard. Kim didn't expect that. Grendizer looking to pass the guard. Grendizer looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Grendizer wants to control from the top but Kim keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim has his feet on Grendizer's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Grendizer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kim defends it nicely. Grendizer shoots in for a takedown but Kim shows good takedown defense. Nice body punch from Kim. Grendizer scores with a takedown into Kim's guard. Kim is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Dae Jung Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Grendizer looks for a takedown but Kim sprawls well. Grendizer misses with a takedown and Kim counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Grendizer with a lazy takedown attempt and Kim moves into the clinch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Grendizer obliges. Grendizer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kim smiles and moves away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kim looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Grendizer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Grendizer has his takedown stuffed and Grendizer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Tata Grendizer will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Kim tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Grendizer paws at him with a jab and circles away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. and Grendizer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grendizer has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kim uses from the top position. Grendizer trying to keep a closed guard but Kim is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grendizer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kim is aware though and is defending well. Grendizer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kim stands up and waves to Grendizer to follow him. Kim tries to clinch but Grendizer moves away and Grendizer counters with a series of strikes. Kim will be more careful next time no doubt. Kim fails to land with a series of punches.

Grendizer tries to clinch up and Kim counters with a three punch combo that has Grendizer backing up. Grendizer nods at Kim to acknowledge the strikes. The fight moves into the clinch position. Kim breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Grendizer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kim counters by clinching up. Kim wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Grendizer has him pressed against the cage.

Tata Grendizer has got the better of the ground game so far. Kim gets to his feet - Grendizer follows without any prompting. Kim throws a head kick but Grendizer moves out of range.

and Grendizer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Kim is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kim scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Grendizer misses with a body kick. Grendizer takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Dae Jung Kim is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Grendizer tries to clinch up but Kim circles away and keeps his distance. Grendizer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kim was covering up waiting for the punch and Grendizer finishes the takedown easily into guard. Grendizer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kim is keeping the position for now.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Tata Grendizer. I've got Grendizer winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
