Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juanie Mexicano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Maignon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josh Maignon will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mexicano tries to close the distance and clinch up but Maignon swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Maignon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mexicano pinned against the cage. Mexicano gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Maignon counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Mexicano is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Maignon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Maignon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
