Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Runner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Rover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rover has chosen Drop The World- Lil' Wayne as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Runner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Rover! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rover throws a nice looking combination but Runner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Runner dives in and grabs Rover's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rover pushes down on Runner's head and hops out. Rover rushes Runner and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Rover has clasped his hands together around Runner's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Runner manages to get back to half guard. Runner moves into full guard.
Runner trying to keep a closed guard but Rover is proving a slippery customer.
Rover slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Runner is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Rover tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Runner regains half guard. Rover missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Rover wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Runner won't allow Rover to pass to mount. Runner trying to control but Rover postures up.
Rover wants to take a breather but Runner is having none of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Runner is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rover. Rover wants to clinch. Rover misses with a jab, cross combination.
Runner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rover tries to avoid it but Runner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rover to the ground. Rover escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rover tries to clinch there but Runner circles away.
Rover looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Runner shoots for a double leg takedown but Rover sprawls well. He's pushed Runner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Runner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rover takes the fight into the clinch. Runner looking for a takedown. Rover pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rover tries a head kick but it misses.
Rover stuffs the takedown. Rover tries to close the distance and clinch up but Runner swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rover scores with a takedown into Runner's guard. Rover looks gassed! Rover is looking to stand up but Runner won't let him. Runner trying to control the position here. Runner keeping moving, preventing Rover from controlling successfully. Runner had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Rover is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Runner Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Rover's back instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rover tries to get to his feet, scrambling wildly. Runner sees the opportunity and transitions to an armbar that forces Rover to tap. Impressive finish!
