Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tony Difelco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carmine Ragusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Difelco comes to the cage accompanied by Gary Numan - Down In The Park. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Difelco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carmine Ragusa! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Difelco leaves Ragusa with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Tony Difelco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ragusa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Difelco as he jumps to the side. Ragusa fails with a takedown attempt. Tony Difelco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carmine Ragusa. No luck with that takedown attempt from Ragusa. Difelco feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Difelco thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Difelco passes Ragusa's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Difelco looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Ragusa is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Difelco decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Ragusa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Difelco decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ragusa's guard. Difelco thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Ragusa looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Difelco puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Difelco tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ragusa knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Difelco lands a nice short elbow. Difelco is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Difelco throwing shots but Ragusa is blocking nicely. Difelco frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Difelco is breathing heavily. Ragusa really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Difelco jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ragusa manages to avoid the submission attempt. Difelco working the head with strikes. Difelco is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ragusa will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Difelco tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Difelco has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ragusa is trying to control Difelco's posture but Difelco avoids it. Difelco thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Difelco stands up. Ragusa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Difelco counters with a single leg into guard. Ragusa didn't expect that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ragusa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ragusa striking off his back but it's not causing Difelco any problems. Difelco looking to pass the guard. Difelco passes Ragusa's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Ragusa keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Difelco is trying to control. Ragusa wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Difelco is looking for a kimura but Ragusa is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Difelco to get the leverage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Difelco dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ragusa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Difelco avoids it really well and circles away. Difelco rushes Ragusa and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ragusa drops down looking for an ankle pick but Difelco pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ragusa misses with a takedown attempt and Difelco counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Tony Difelco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carmine Ragusa. Ragusa is looking for a sweep. Difelco is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Difelco is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ragusa! Difelco is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Ragusa is forced to tap! Great finish!
