The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hantta is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hantta looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Aoki closes the distance but Hantta moves to the side
and Hantta moves into the clinch.
Hantta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Aoki swings away with a body shot that misses
and Hantta counters with a nice body shot.
Hantta scores with a jab to the body.
Hantta misses with a head kick.
Aoki misses with a hook to the body
and Hantta counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Shitty Aoki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hantta tries to clinch there but Aoki circles away.
Aoki misses with a body punch
and Hantta counters with a slapping leg kick.
Aoki looks gassed!
Nice straight punches there by Hantta. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hantta.

Hantta throws a sloppy head kick and Aoki moves out of range easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hantta darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hantta lands a nice looking body shot.
Hantta misses with a two punch combination.
Hantta lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Aoki swats away the attempt to clinch by Hantta.
Hantta is looking to clinch.
Hantta lands a nice looking kick to the body. Aoki takes a step back to recover.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hantta misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Hantta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Aoki moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hantta steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Aoki is out on his feet! Hantta sets himself and nearly takes Aoki's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
