Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farias changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Paige tries to avoid it but Farias manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Paige to the ground. Paige escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Farias fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Paige is out of range.

and Farias counters with a nice double leg into side control. Paige won't be happy with that.

Farias manages to reverse the position and now he's in Paige's guard. Nice work there by Farias.

Farias gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Farias shoots for a takedown but Paige saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Farias tries to clinch there but Paige circles away.
Paige swats away the attempt to clinch by Farias.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Paige moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Paige scores with a takedown into Farias's guard.
Farias has control of Paige's left arm, preventing Paige from doing any damage.
Paige got a little sloppy there for a moment and Farias has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Paige has managed to get both his arms back between Farias's legs - danger averted.
