Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mickey Rourke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jackie The Supreme!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rourke misses with a straight right.
The Supreme looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rourke is fending him off so far but The Supreme persists. Nope, Rourke circles away and we're back to standing.
The Supreme leaves Rourke with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Rourke closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming The Supreme to the mat! The Supreme manages to get full guard.

Rourke thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Rourke escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. The Supreme gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The Supreme utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The Supreme trying to keep a closed guard but Rourke is proving a slippery customer.
The Supreme bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rourke's guard.
The Supreme stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rourke swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rourke is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Rourke looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! The Supreme has picked Rourke up and slammed him! Rourke can't keep hold of the triangle and The Supreme manages to pass to side control!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rourke is looking for a sweep. The Supreme is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mickey Rourke.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rourke, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
