Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takeo Katsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor has chosen Dismembered as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Katsu as he jumps to the side.
Taylor circles away from the clinch attempt.
Katsu throws a nice looking combination but Taylor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Katsu throws a body kick that misses.
Katsu moves into range and clinches up with Taylor.
Taylor tries to score a body lock takedown but Katsu shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Taylor fails to pull guard.
Takeo Katsu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Taylor.
Taylor jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Katsu walks away with a smile on his face. Taylor gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Katsu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Taylor circles away quickly and effectively.
Taylor shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Katsu fails in his attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice takedown defense from Katsu. No joy for Taylor on that attempt.
Taylor dodges the punch combination from Katsu.
Katsu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Katsu closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Katsu darts in and clinches Taylor up against the cage.
Katsu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Katsu moves into the clinch.
Taylor takes a knee right on the jaw!

Katsu keeps control of Taylor as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Taylor tries to pull guard but Katsu holds him up against the cage and eventually Taylor drops back down to his feet.

Katsu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Taylor keeps the fight on the outside.

Taylor takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Katsu is looking to clinch.
Taylor tries to keep at a distance but Katsu has taken the fight into the clinch.
Katsu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Katsu fails in his attempt to clinch.
Katsu scores with a leg kick.
Katsu fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Taylor closes the distance and clinches up with Katsu, looking for a takedown. Taylor pushes Katsu against the cage but Katsu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Katsu gets a clinch.
Katsu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Katsu is looking to clinch but Taylor is avoiding it.
Katsu goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Taylor has a takedown stuffed.
Katsu wants to clinch.
Katsu throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Taylor tries for a takedown but Katsu sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Katsu tries to close the distance and clinch but Taylor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Katsu throws a sloppy head kick and Taylor moves out of range easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Taylor shoots in for a takedown but Katsu shows good takedown defense.
Katsu throws a right and a left that both miss.
Katsu gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Taylor throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Katsu blocks it with crossed arms.
Taylor stalling in the clinch but Katsu improves position.
Katsu landing knees to the head.
Katsu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Katsu throws a head kick but Taylor moves out of range.
Katsu tries to clinch but Taylor moves out of range.
Katsu rushes Taylor and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Taylor shoots in for a double leg but Katsu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Katsu throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Taylor.
Katsu tries to clinch but Taylor is having none of it.
Taylor gets the takedown into side control.
Katsu wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Taylor has an Americana. Katsu didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Taylor is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Taylor hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
