Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Butch Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Frasier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butch Baker is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Butch Baker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frankie Frasier!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frasier dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Baker is looking to slow Frasier down with leg kicks.
Baker missing with a left hand there. Frasier was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Frasier takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Frasier avoids the head kick by Baker.
Frasier works Baker's body with a nice hook.
Baker fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Frasier lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Baker circles away quickly and effectively.
Frasier fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Baker has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Frasier finds it's way round the side to connect with Baker's head.
Baker shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Frasier lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Frasier throws a series of punches but Baker moves out of range.
Baker misses with a looping right.

Baker tries a head kick but it misses.
Frasier fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Baker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Baker closes the distance and pushes Frasier back into the cage.
Frasier can't break the clinch.
Frasier is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Baker is defending well for now.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Frasier fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Butch Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baker looks to land a left hand but Frasier moved out of range nicely.

Baker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Baker is breathing heavily.
Frasier looks to score with a jab to the body but Baker is just out of range.
Baker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Frasier's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Frasier duly obliges.

Frasier looks to land a combination. Baker sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Baker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Frasier paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Oh Baker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Frasier lands a nice shot to the body.
Baker seems to have got his legs back now.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Frasier throws a nice looking combination but Baker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Frasier throws a series of strikes that have Baker backpedaling.
Baker walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Frasier checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Baker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Frasier stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Baker.
No joy there for Frasier, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Baker takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

and Frasier counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Baker throws a right hand that Frasier ducks under and follows up with a left that Frasier also avoids with ease.
A decent looking cross lands there for Frasier.
Baker throws a nice looking combination but Frasier bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Baker decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Frasier's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frasier looking for a sweep. Not yet Frasier, not yet.
Baker postures up.

Baker is pushing down on Frasier's leg trying to pass to half guard. Frasier is fighting to maintain full guard but Baker has managed to sneak the leg through.

Baker is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Frasier is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Baker pulls his head out easily.

Baker is keen to just control but Frasier is a slippery customer.

Baker is pressing down on Frasier's thigh, looking to free his foot. Frasier is holding on for now.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Baker takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Baker looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Frankie Frasier seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Baker takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Frasier keeps the fight on the outside.
A nice inside leg kick there by Baker. That's going to slow Frasier down.
Frasier closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Frasier gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Baker is looking to advance position but Frasier has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Frasier takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Baker manages to regain half guard. Good work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Frasier wants to control but Baker is keeping him busy.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Frasier stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Frasier wants it to stay on the feet.

Frasier is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Baker's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Baker's back!

Frasier is not going to allow Baker to sit and survive in this position.

Frasier working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Frasier is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Frasier is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Baker knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Baker for a finish.

Frasier wants to stand but Baker is controlling the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Frasier is trying to control but can't.
Frasier is looking to escape.
Frasier wants to control but Baker passes into side.
Baker controlling the position.
Baker is chipping away with strikes.
Baker throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Butch Baker.
I think Baker has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
