Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miguel The Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Pall Sigmarsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Snake kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Portuguese Anthem. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miguel The Snake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jon Pall Sigmarsson! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sigmarsson scores with a one two! The Snake had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. The Snake takes the fight into the clinch. The Snake is pressed up against the cage. Sigmarsson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag The Snake down to the mat. The Snake avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. The Snake moves into range and clinches up with Sigmarsson. Sigmarsson goes for a takedown in the clinch but The Snake prevents it.
The Snake's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The Snake moves into the clinch. The Snake has clasped his hands together around Sigmarsson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The Snake working away. Sigmarsson is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but The Snake is staying active. The Snake tries to move to mount but Sigmarsson blocks the move with his legs. The Snake goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sigmarsson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in The Snake's guard! Nice work there by Sigmarsson! Sigmarsson wants to control from the top but The Snake keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Snake isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sigmarsson stacks The Snake on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sigmarsson! The Snake looking for a sweep but Sigmarsson has passed into full mount! Oh no! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Snake wants to get back to his feet.
The Snake can't escape the position.
Sigmarsson quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Sigmarsson but it's paid off an The Snake is forced to tap! Nice work by Sigmarsson.
