Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruslan Tashinchev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rellik X (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). X has chosen Broken Dreams as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ruslan Tashinchev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rellik X! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Tashinchev. Tashinchev tries to keep at a distance but X has taken the fight into the clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. X misses with a knee to the head. A knee to the head by X.
X with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Tashinchev jumps guard but X stands there with Tashinchev around his waist. Tashinchev gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
X decides to pull guard. X is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tashinchev has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. X is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Tashinchev wants to get up but he can't break X's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. X wants to sweep but no luck.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. X closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tashinchev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
X moves into the clinch successfully.
X tries to land a knee to the head but Tashinchev blocks with his arms.
Tashinchev dodges an elbow strike from X.
X misses with a knee strike.
X scores with a knee to the head.
X looks gassed! X tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Tashinchev tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. X smiles and moves away.
Tashinchev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A slapping body kick lands there for Tashinchev. Tashinchev closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. X did well to prevent Tashinchev getting side control. X is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tashinchev connects with a nice short shot to X's temple. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tashinchev stalling. Tashinchev prevents X from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tashinchev is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. X tries to get to full guard but Tashinchev has control of the leg. The fighters are battling for position here. X manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Tashinchev controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Tashinchev preventing the sweep. Tashinchev scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tashinchev wants to control from the top but X keeps moving. X wants to sweep but no luck. Tashinchev is stalling in the full guard. Tashinchev thows a big elbow that misses. X looking for a sweep. Not yet X, not yet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Tashinchev tries to grapple but his opponent circles and X counters by clinching up. X misses with a knee strike.
Tashinchev pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. X clinches up against the ropes. Tashinchev breaks the clinch.
A jab from Tashinchev misses. Tashinchev circles away from the clinch attempt so Tashinchev counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's four minutes gone in the round. X isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Tashinchev stacks X on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tashinchev! Tashinchev slows the pace down. Tashinchev tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tashinchev has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Tashinchev wants to control but X is keeping him busy. Tashinchev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for X on the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. X tries to improve position but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ruslan Tashinchev dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
X keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. X closes the distance and clinches up with Tashinchev, looking for a takedown. X pushes Tashinchev against the ropes but Tashinchev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. X looks to clinch and Tashinchev counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tashinchev. X lands a knee to the head.

Tashinchev on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tashinchev tries to get out of the position. Tashinchev keeping full guard, as X tries to pass. Tashinchev is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Tashinchev can't keep his opponent in guard - X advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. X prevents Tashinchev from improving his position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. X throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. X passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tashinchev! X throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Tashinchev is in all sorts of trouble here.
X raining down shots from the mount! X cracks Tashinchev with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
X is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tashinchev is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
X landing strikes from the mount. Tashinchev blocking the ground and pound. X scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Tashinchev?
Tashinchev is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, X cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
X unloading with bombs! X is in the full mount, landing strikes. X looking to finish with strikes here!
X misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

A nice elbow there by X. X throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Tashinchev because X loaded up on that one. Tashinchev wants to hold on but X pushes him away. X unloading with bombs! X thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. X throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Tashinchev is bucking up trying to escape but X cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Tashinchev tries to lock up and control but X gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. X sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's four minutes gone in the round. X working away from the top, dropping strikes. Tashinchev really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Tashinchev tries to hold on but X postures up. Tashinchev is trying desperately to improve position. X with the ground and pound from mount. X with the ground and pound from mount. Tashinchev takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Tashinchev holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as X tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Tashinchev wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by X.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rellik X showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Tashinchev tries to close the distance and clinch but X swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tashinchev throws a head kick that misses. No joy there for X, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
X looks to clinch so Tashinchev counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. X looking to sweep here. No luck so far. X controls Tashinchev momentarily but Tashinchev frees himself. Tashinchev is in close to X's body, working some short punches and elbows. Tashinchev tries to stand but X is controlling from the bottom. X is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Tashinchev landing with the ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tashinchev slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. X escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tashinchev gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Tashinchev drops back looking for a leg! X is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and X manages to kick Tashinchev off! Tashinchev jumps back into X's guard. Tashinchev avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tashinchev wanted to stand there but X had control of the position. X has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. X manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

X postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tashinchev looks a forlorn figure.
X sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! X has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tashinchev's face.

And that's the end of the fight! Rellik X comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think X has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
