Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Armas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Billington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Armas might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Enter Sandman. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Igor Armas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Billington! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Billington drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Billington preventing the sweep. Billington trying to control but Armas is working from the bottom. Armas looking for a sweep. Not yet Armas, not yet. Billington working some strikes from top position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Billington accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Billington preventing the sweep. Armas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Armas is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Billington pushing down on Armas's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Armas is trying to get back to full guard. Billington drops an elbow to the side of Armas's head. Billington is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Billington winds up and cracks Armas with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Billington has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Billington landing strikes from the mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Billington is landing with some decent strikes but Armas is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Billington connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Armas tries to hold on but Billington postures up. Billington raining down shots from the mount! Billington with the ground and pound from mount. Armas on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Armas tries to get out of the position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Armas manages to regain half guard. Good work. Armas moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Armas is breathing heavily. Armas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Billington doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Billington manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Billington keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Armas's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Billington scoring with punches to the head and body. Billington stands up over Armas, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Billington is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Billington is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Armas wants to improve his position but instead Billington has moved into half guard.
Armas tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Billington has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Armas is trying to escape the mount.
Billington lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Armas hang on? Billington raining down shots from the mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Armas tries to hold on but Billington pushes him away. Billington lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Billington landing strikes from the mount. Billington pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Billington raining down shots from the mount! Billington lands a big shot there that rocks Armas but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Billington putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Armas is looking to get to half guard. Billington lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Billington loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Armas scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Billington land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Billington stands and salutes the crowd.
