Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Echo Echo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vinnie Paul is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Echo Echo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vinnie Paul! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paul moves in looking to clinch but Echo pushes him off. Echo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Paul avoids it really well and circles away. Echo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Paul swivels and escapes. Echo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Paul circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Echo Echo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Paul is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position. Paul is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Echo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Paul gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A bit of stalling here from Paul.
Paul pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Paul keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Echo throws a looping overhand right but Paul ducks down to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Echo is defended easily by Paul. Paul looks to land a combination. Echo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Paul wants to clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Paul looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Paul blocks a head kick by Echo.
Echo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Paul defends it nicely. Echo fails to land the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paul scores with a three punch combo!
Echo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Paul's waist but Paul gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Echo off to one side. Paul forces Echo back against the cage and clinches. Echo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Paul is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Paul lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Echo tries to roll over but Paul keeps him under control. Paul stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Vinnie Paul is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Paul moves in looking to clinch but Echo pushes him off. Paul gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Paul crunches a lovely knee into Echo's ribcage. Paul slows down the pace here.
Echo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Paul pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paul tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Paul fails with an attempt to clinch.
Paul will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Echo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Echo scores a takedown into full mount! Paul trying desperately to get to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Echo wants to finish this one by submission but Paul is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Echo. Echo has hold of Paul's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Paul manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Echo is breathing heavily. Paul is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Echo working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Paul turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Echo off and cradles Paul's limp body as Echo celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Echo Echo!
