Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between carpet muncher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that carpet muncher has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily carpet muncher seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
muncher fails with an attempt to clinch.
muncher could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
muncher tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johnson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
muncher tries to clinch but Johnson is having none of it.
muncher scores with a decent looking hook.
muncher misses with a body shot.
muncher is looking to clinch but Johnson is avoiding it.
Johnson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
muncher wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
muncher tries to improve position but can't.
Johnson wants to control but muncher is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Johnson stands up and we're back to a striking position.
muncher throws a looping overhand right but Johnson ducks down to avoid it.
A punch lands to the side of Johnson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Johnson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like carpet muncher has been cut.

Johnson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. muncher looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This has been an exciting period of action!
muncher tries to escape but Johnson is in control.
muncher explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
muncher tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance.
muncher tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Johnson scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Johnson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Johnson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Johnson stalks muncher and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into muncher's face. muncher staggers backwards, shaken.
Johnson swats away the attempt to clinch by muncher.
muncher is looking to clinch.
muncher misses with a hook.
Johnson scores a takedown into full mount!
Johnson looks gassed!

muncher slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Johnson wants to stand up but muncher manages to regain full guard.
Johnson won't allow muncher to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
muncher kicks Johnson off and gets to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from muncher lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Johnson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Johnson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Johnson swats away the attempt to clinch by muncher.
muncher cracks a nice hook into Johnson's ribs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quinton Johnson dominated that round.
The cut man is working on carpet muncher's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
muncher fails in his attempt to clinch.
muncher swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Johnson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for muncher!
muncher slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
muncher has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Johnson is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson wants to pass to mount but muncher is defending the position.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Johnson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Johnson wants to stand up but muncher has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Johnson is keen to just control but muncher is a slippery customer.
Johnson stalling away here and it's allowed muncher to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
muncher wants to stand up but Johnson is controlling him.
Johnson preventing the sweep.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
muncher darts in trying to clinch
and Johnson moves into the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
muncher wants to break the clinch but can't.
muncher is trying to drag Johnson to the mat but Johnson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
muncher drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Johnson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Johnson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but muncher has him pressed against the cage.
muncher is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Johnson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for carpet muncher. That's going to take a lot out of him.
muncher misses with a punch on the inside.
muncher looking for a takedown.
muncher has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Johnson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
muncher wants to break the clinch but can't.
muncher wants a takedown.
Johnson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from muncher.

muncher wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Johnson has him pressed against the cage.
Johnson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
muncher misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
muncher closes the distance looking to clinch
and Johnson moves into the clinch.
muncher drops down looking for an ankle pick but Johnson pulls his leg out and moves away.
muncher tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
muncher works his way to full guard. Good work.
Johnson throws a sloppy strike and muncher has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Johnson is forced to tap! Great BJJ from muncher!
