Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peyton Walsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Sheppard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peyton Walsh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyle Sheppard! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walsh looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Walsh instigates a clinch. Walsh tries for a takedown. No joy.
Walsh goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sheppard prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peyton Walsh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Walsh blocks an elbow strike. Walsh is trying to break the clinch but Sheppard has him pressed against the cage. Sheppard swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Sheppard looking to slow down the pace here. Walsh is pushing Sheppard up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Walsh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sheppard walks away with a smile on his face. Walsh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sheppard drops his shoulder and cracks Walsh with a huge uppercut! Walsh goes down! Can Sheppard finish him?
Walsh is rocked! Sheppard trying to control the position from guard on top but Walsh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sheppard controls from within his opponent's guard. Sheppard trying to control but Walsh is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sheppard is in close to Walsh's body, working some short punches and elbows. Walsh wants to stand and escape but Sheppard is having none of it. Walsh keeping full guard, as Sheppard tries to pass. Walsh is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sheppard is aware though and is defending well. Sheppard wanted to stand there but Walsh had control of the position. Sheppard slips nicely into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walsh slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Walsh keeping moving, preventing Sheppard from controlling successfully. Walsh throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Walsh working a defensive guard here.
Walsh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Walsh has a closed guard, preventing Sheppard from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walsh can't keep his opponent in guard - Sheppard advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Walsh trying to control here.
Sheppard throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sheppard feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Walsh sprawling to the canvas! Walsh rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sheppard finish him?!
Oh Walsh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sheppard dances in with a quick combination. Walsh is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Sheppard snaps Walsh's head back. Walsh stumbles backwards against the cage. Sheppard steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Walsh's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Walsh just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kyle Sheppard!
