Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Disisto!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Disisto.
Disisto looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Butten is fending him off so far but Disisto persists. Nope, Butten circles away and we're back to standing.
Butten has his takedown stuffed

and Disisto counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Butten's guard now.
Disisto is stalling in the full guard.

Butten throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Disisto wants to stand but Butten has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Disisto trying to control but Butten is working from the bottom.
Disisto throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Butten works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Disisto stops Butten from standing up.
Butten is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Disisto postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Butten is looking to clinch.
Butten gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Disisto counters by moving into the clinch.
Disisto misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Butten.

Butten manages to break the clinch.

Disisto has managed to clinch.
Disisto is trying to force a seperation but Butten has the dominant position.

Butten misses with a takedown attempt

and Disisto counters with a single leg into guard. Butten didn't expect that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rus Butten. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Butten is breathing heavily.

Disisto stands up and waves to Butten to follow him.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Disisto is defended easily by Butten.

Disisto drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Disisto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Butten to the mat! Butten manages to get full guard.

Butten is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Butten can't keep his opponent in guard - Disisto advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Disisto drops an elbow to the side of Butten's head.
Disisto takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Butten looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Disisto is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Butten sees it coming and defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Disisto moves into full mount! Butten won't be happy about that!

Disisto stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Disisto misses with a few strikes there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Disisto closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Disisto wants to take a breather but Butten is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Disisto dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Disisto tries for a takedown but Butten sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Disisto shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Butten napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Disisto is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Butten has escaped the position, nice work there.

Disisto thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Butten tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Disisto wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Disisto sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Butten is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
You can see the frustration on Butten's face as Disisto controls the position.
A control attempt from Butten but he's now mounted!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Butten tries to lock up and control but Disisto gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Disisto looking to finish Butten with some ground and pound. This is bad for Butten!
Butten knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Disisto on the ground.
Disisto lands a nice shot to the head.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Disisto cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Butten tries to hold on but Disisto pushes him away.

Disisto is working for a guillotine from mount but Butten frees his head quite easily.

Disisto working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Disisto connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Mike Disisto has got the better of the ground game so far.
Disisto blocks Butten's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Disisto looking to control but Butten is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Butten tries to buck Disisto off but he can't manage it.
Disisto with shots to the head and body - Butten looks very uncomfortable down there.

Butten really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Disisto working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Butten turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Disisto off and cradles Butten's limp body as Disisto celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Mike Disisto!
