Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Leko Leko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rui Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leko comes to the cage accompanied by In da club - 50 cent . Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leko is looking to slow Rodrigues down with leg kicks.
Rodrigues fails with an attempt to clinch.
Leko throws a right hand that Rodrigues ducks under and follows up with a left that Rodrigues also avoids with ease.
Rodrigues gets a clinch.
Rodrigues controlling the action here for a moment.
Rodrigues manages to break the clinch.
Rodrigues tries to score a power double leg takedown but Leko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rodrigues somewhat.
Leko pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Rodrigues shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Leko defends it nicely.
Leko looks to clinch
and Rodrigues counters with a single leg into guard. Leko didn't expect that.
Rodrigues is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rodrigues wants to control from the top but Leko keeps moving.
Leko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rodrigues on the ground.

Leko wants to stand but Rodrigues is controlling the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Leko has a closed guard, preventing Rodrigues from standing up.

Rodrigues controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Leko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rodrigues gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Leko doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rodrigues counters by moving into the clinch.
Nice body punch from Rodrigues - that landed with a thud.
Leko wants to get back to striking at distance but Rodrigues won't allow it.
Rodrigues has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Leko is trying to keep an underhook but Rodrigues manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Rodrigues thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Leko to regain full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leko throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Rodrigues stops Leko from standing up.
Leko pushes Rodrigues off and gets back to his feet.
Leko clinches but Rodrigues breaks the clinch
and Rodrigues counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Rodrigues fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Leko sprawls well initially but Rodrigues persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Rodrigues is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Leko tries to control the position but Rodrigues now has his back.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Rodrigues wants to control but Leko manages to buck him off and is now in Rodrigues's guard! Nice work there by Leko!
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Leko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Leko moves into range and clinches up with Rodrigues.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rodrigues tries to pull guard but Leko holds him up against the cage and eventually Rodrigues drops back down to his feet.
Leko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Leko plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
A nice inside leg kick there by Leko. That's going to slow Rodrigues down.
Leko punishes Rodrigues's body with a nice straight punch.
Rodrigues sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Leko doesn't manage to clinch there - Rodrigues circles away.
Leko fails in his attempt to clinch.
A combination from Leko does no damage.
Rodrigues will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Leko misses with a double jab.

Leko has closed the distance and engaged Rodrigues in a clinch.
Rodrigues manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Leko prevents Rodrigues from getting back to his feet.
Rodrigues pulls Leko in close to his closed guard and prevents Leko from doing any damage or advancing position.
Rodrigues is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Leko is aware though and is defending well.

Rui Rodrigues showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Rodrigues stands and steps away. Leko gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Leko feints and then cracks Rodrigues's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rodrigues down.

and Rodrigues counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Leko's guard now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rodrigues tries to free his leg and advance position but Leko is retaining full guard.
Rodrigues decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Leko, up you get!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Leko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rodrigues. That did some damage!

Rodrigues shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rodrigues showed some decent athleticism there.
Rodrigues is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Leko doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rodrigues.

Leko is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rodrigues is controlling him.

Stefan Leko Leko has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Leko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rodrigues doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rodrigues manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Rodrigues gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Rui Rodrigues comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Rodrigues winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
