Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikey Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keiji Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikey Kim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Keiji Suzuki! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suzuki keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kim sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Kim tries to clinch up but Suzuki circles away and keeps his distance. Kim bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Suzuki keeps working. Suzuki prevents Kim from improving position. Kim wants to control but Suzuki is keeping him busy. Suzuki pushes Kim away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kim gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Kim working the ground and pound.

Suzuki lunges at Kim with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kim's hand. Suzuki getting the better of the striking in that exchange. and Suzuki counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Kim gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Suzuki counters with a head kick. That will keep Kim thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Kim with a poor takedown and Suzuki counters with a good, hard body kick but Kim shrugs it off. Kim throws a combination that misses and Suzuki counters with a body kick. Kim will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Kim clinches but Suzuki breaks the clinch and Suzuki counters with a head kick. Keiji Suzuki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kim shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Suzuki counters with a series of strikes. Kim will be more careful next time no doubt. Kim shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kim showed some decent athleticism there. Kim stops Suzuki from getting back to his feet.

Keiji Suzuki dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
