The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Prpic has closed the distance and engaged Martin in a clinch.
Martin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Prpic pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ivan Prpic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Prpic will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Prpic bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Martin is looking for a sweep.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Martin decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Prpic, up you get!

It looks like Astyn Martin has been cut.

Martin is fighting off a takedown attempt but Prpic is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Martin to the mat. Martin regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
