The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matae bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps T's head backwards.
T throws a right and a left that Matae avoids nicely.
T blocks a head kick by Matae.
T rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Matae moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Matae slips a jab and a cross from T.
Pusha T seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matae takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
It looks like Yokida Matae has been cut.
T looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A punch combination from T misses.
Matae buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
T is breathing heavily.
