Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between DJ Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlo Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marlo Bell will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell looks to land a combination but Williams avoids it well. Williams throws a nice inside leg kick. Bell works Williams's body with a nice hook. Williams closes the distance and clinches up with Bell, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes Bell against the cage but Bell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Williams takes a body punch but keeps moving. Bell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Williams avoids the body shot from Bell.

Bell scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. A punch combination from Bell misses. Williams slips a straight right by Bell. Bell misses with an uppercut. Williams saw that one coming. Bell lands a body shot.
Williams throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bell was covering up waiting for the punch and Williams finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Marlo Bell is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bell is pulling down on Williams's head to control his posture.
