Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tanishk Soni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Pearce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pearce is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Enter Sandman (Metallica). Michael Pearce is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tanishk Soni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Pearce!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soni shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pearce pinned against the cage. Pearce gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pearce looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Pearce wants to clinch.
Soni scores with a nice strike.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Soni.
Soni closes the distance and clinches up with Pearce, looking for a takedown. Soni pushes Pearce against the cage but Pearce circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tanishk Soni. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pearce changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Soni looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pearce trying to control the action but Soni is working from the bottom.
Soni manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pearce is trying to maintain the position but Soni is very close to passing his half guard.
Pearce wants to get back to full guard.
Pearce wants to control the action here but instead Soni manages to pass to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Soni takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Soni slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Soni has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Pearce is trying to control his opponent's hands. Eventually Soni gets his hands free and sinks in a rear naked choke. For a while it looks like Pearce is going to survive but after struggling valiantly, he eventually has to tap out! Soni is your winner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tanishk Soni!
