Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sumali Prasoetram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prasoetram kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Way I Feel. Sumali Prasoetram has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

A head kick from Prasoetram lands but Maia takes it in his stride.
Maia drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Maia drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Maia jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Maia throws a strike but Prasoetram rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sumali Prasoetram.
Well Prasoetram has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
