Kennedy comes to the cage accompanied by MegaDeth - Symphony of Destruction. striped cat looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Kennedy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, striped cat! The judges for this bout are , and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! cat tries to clinch but Kennedy moves out of range. Kennedy blocks the body kick.
cat fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
cat throws a right and a left that Kennedy avoids nicely. Kennedy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
cat takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kennedy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. cat looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. cat regains half guard, as Kennedy was trying to land strikes. Kennedy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and cat defends it well. Kennedy is taking a breather. cat says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kennedy postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for cat to stand up. Kennedy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kennedy working the head and body with strikes. Kennedy postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Kennedy has hold of cat's arm. He's looking for a kimura. cat seems comfortable defending it but Kennedy has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! cat is real pain and he's forced to tap out! cat is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kennedy couldn't care less - he's delighted!
