Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Woolard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woolard fails to land with a series of punches.
Hughes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hughes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Woolard slips a straight right by Hughes.
Hughes jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hughes misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Woolard throws a series of punches but Hughes moves out of range.
Hughes throws a shot from downtown. Woolard moves away and avoids it.
Woolard moves away from the strike by Hughes.
Hughes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Woolard counters with a nice kick to the body.
Woolard throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Woolard fails with a takedown attempt.
Woolard scores with a jab.
Woolard scores with a one two! Hughes had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Woolard ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hughes misses with an uppercut.
Hughes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Woolard.
Hughes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The fighters circling - Hughes throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hughes looks gassed!
Hughes throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Woolard lands a jab to the head.
Woolard with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Woolard lands with a nice combination. Hughes backs away looking to recover.

Hughes is rocked!

Woolard shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Hughes is still in real trouble! Can Woolard finish him?

Hughes has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Woolard is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hughes.
Hughes seems a little lost for a moment, as Woolard dominates the positioning.

Woolard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hughes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Hughes seems to have recovered his senses.
Hughes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Woolard wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hughes is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Hughes is looking for a sweep.
Woolard lands a nice forearm strike.

Woolard cracks Hughes with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Hughes is looking to regain half guard here but Woolard keeps moving and retains side control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Woolard instigates a clinch.
Woolard is pressed up against the cage. Hughes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Woolard down to the mat. Woolard avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Woolard scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Hughes might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Woolard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hughes is fending him off so far but Woolard persists. Nope, Hughes circles away and we're back to standing.

and Woolard counters with a single leg into guard. Hughes didn't expect that.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hughes can do anything to dispel that myth.

Woolard got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hughes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Woolard has managed to get both his arms back between Hughes's legs - danger averted.

Hughes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Woolard can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hughes can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Woolard controls the pace.

Hughes is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Woolard rolls with it to try and escape but Hughes cranks on the arm and Woolard is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
