The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hazelette keeps the fight on the outside.
Hazelette slaps away a takedown attempt from Dublin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Markus Dublin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dublin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hazelette on the ground.
Dublin can't keep his opponent in guard - Hazelette advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Hazelette is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Dublin is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hazelette defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Hazelette tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Hazelette is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dublin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dublin's back!

Dublin is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

You can see the frustration on Dublin's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Hazelette is working for a rear naked choke. Dublin is not defending it well and Hazelette has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Dublin refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Dublin's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
