Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Freddy James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sir Lancelot! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lancelot is trying hard to land a takedown here. James sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Lancelot swinging wilding here.
James swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lancelot. James looks to land a combination but Lancelot avoids it well. James throws the left hand but Lancelot avoids the punch easily. James ducks down and throws a hook to the body. James thows a body shot but no joy. James doesn't manage to clinch there - Lancelot circles away.

Lancelot working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of James's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James is trying to control the position from the bottom.

James tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lancelot swats him away and circles back towards the center. James misses with the combination.

Lancelot seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but James does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lancelot not landing any meaningful shots this time. Lancelot throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. James is trying to stand.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lancelot fails with a takedown attempt. James thows a body shot but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lancelot postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. James looks a forlorn figure.
