Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Connor's choice of entrance music: Rage Against The Machine - Know Your Enemy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor wants to clinch.
Thompson stuns Connor with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Connor tries to clinch but Thompson is having none of it.
Thompson swats away the attempt to clinch by Connor.
The fight stays on the outside here - Connor looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Connor takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Connor throws a sloppy body shot
and Thompson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Connor looks gassed!
Thompson looks to score with a jab to the body but Connor is just out of range.
Thompson lands a with a good body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Connor moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Matt Connor has been cut.
Thompson lands a left and a right that send Connor crashing to the mat, dazed. Thompson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Connor is rocked!
Thompson measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Connor! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
