The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves scores with a jab to the head.
A combination from Rajamaki does no damage.
Alves is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rajamaki.
Rajamaki throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rajamaki misses with a body shot.
Rajamaki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Some bone on bone action there as Rajamaki checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

The fighters circling - Rajamaki throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Alves moves in looking to clinch but Rajamaki pushes him off.
Rajamaki throws a leg kick which misses Alves's front leg but catches the back leg as Alves tries to avoid it.
Alves throws a hook but Rajamaki avoids it easily.
Good work by Alves as he checks the leg kick.
Alves throws and low kick but Rajamaki moves out of range easily.
Rajamaki fails to land with a series of punches.
Rajamaki throws a right hand that Alves ducks under and follows up with a left that Alves also avoids with ease.

Rajamaki moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Alves keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rajamaki.
Rajamaki misses with a body kick.
Rajamaki thows a body shot but no joy.
A cross from Rajamaki lands.
Alves slips a jab and a cross from Rajamaki.
Alves misses with a straight left.
Alves comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Rajamaki counters with a left and a right that stings Alves.

and Rajamaki finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Toni Rajamaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rajamaki throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Alves colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Rajamaki as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Alves is left battered and dazed whilst Rajamaki and his camp cheer!
