Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Palito Fairtex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harrison Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fairtex comes into the arena with Spiderman- The Ramones blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fairtex.
Fairtex tries a head kick but it misses.
Hardy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hardy shoots in for a takedown but Fairtex shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fairtex throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A slapping leg kick lands for Fairtex.
Hardy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fairtex was well out of range. Poor timing from Hardy.
Palito Fairtex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hardy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hardy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hardy works to advance to full mount. Fairtex defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Hardy has control of Fairtex's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Fairtex regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Fairtex really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hardy has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Fairtex defend it? Hardy steps over the head and cranks it - Fairtex is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hardy!
