Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Styles P (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathew Snorx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Styles P! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mathew Snorx! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snorx fails miserably with a takedown attempt. P misses with a low kick. Snorx shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has P pinned against the cage. P gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. P circles away from the clinch attempt.
Snorx circles away from the clinch attempt and Snorx cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snorx fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Styles P has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mathew Snorx. Snorx avoids the head kick by P.
That's one minute gone in the round. P tries to score with a low kick but Snorx moves his leg out of the way. Snorx tries to score a power double leg takedown but P sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Snorx somewhat. Donk. P catches Snorx right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Mathew Snorx has been cut. Snorx shoots in looking for a takedown. P tries to sprawl out of it but Snorx keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. P manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Snorx shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Snorx.
That's two minutes gone in the round. P throws a series of punches but Snorx moves out of range. Snorx shoots in and drives through. P sprawls well. P throws a combination that misses and Snorx counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Snorx fails to land the takedown. P swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
P falls off balance throwing a combination
and Snorx holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. P jumps guard but Snorx stands there with P around his waist. P gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
P drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Snorx has P pressed against the cage, preventing P from circling away and getting back to striking at range. P has had enough of the clinch but Snorx keeps him there for the moment. P lands a hook to the side of the head. P tries to break the clinch but Snorx is controlling the position. Snorx drops to a knee looking for a takedown but P gets the underhooks and prevents it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for P. A quick uppercut on the inside from P. P working hard to break the clinch. P escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Snorx changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. P tries to avoid it but Snorx manages to keep hold of a leg and drag P to the ground. P escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. P will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
P misses with a straight left. P looks to land a combination but Snorx avoids it well. Snorx shoots in but P avoids the takedown attempt easily. P misses with a combination
and Snorx counters with a nice double leg into guard. Snorx tries to free his leg and advance position but P is retaining full guard. Snorx looks gassed! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Styles P will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Mathew Snorx's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
P tries to bum rush Snorx with a series of wild strikes but Snorx uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Snorx shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. P is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Snorx looking to pass the guard. P is trying to keep Snorx in close.
Snorx stops P from standing up. P is working an open guard so Snorx takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Snorx is breathing heavily. P defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Snorx.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snorx looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? P is fending him off so far but Snorx persists. Nope, P circles away and we're back to standing. P tries to clinch up. Snorx misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Styles P has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's two minutes gone in the round. P is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Snorx's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Snorx prevents P from standing back up.
Snorx passes to side control. A bit of a lull in the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. P tries to improve position but can't. Snorx passes to full mount! That's big trouble for P! P doing his best to control the position. Can he escape? P flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. P wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Snorx is standing up, even though he is in mount. P throws a right hand that Snorx ducks under and follows up with a left that Snorx also avoids with ease. Snorx misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. P will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
P leaves Snorx with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. P is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Snorx. Snorx circles away from the clinch attempt.
P tries to clinch up. P instigates a clinch. P looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. P tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Snorx just stands there and leans against the cage. P's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mathew Snorx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Mathew Snorx's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
P lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by P. Snorx closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. P fails to pull guard.

P is trying to drag Snorx to the mat but Snorx just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

P breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Snorx shoots for a double leg takedown but P sprawls well. He's pushed Snorx's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. P tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. P just misses with a punch to the body.
Mathew Snorx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Snorx wants to clinch up but P keeps it at a distance. P stuffs the takedown. P misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. P misses with a head kick.

P closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Snorx did well to prevent P getting side control. P sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Snorx defending well though. Snorx makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Snorx. P avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

P working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. P is in close to Snorx's body, working some short punches and elbows. P knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Snorx on the ground. Snorx working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from P. P preventing the sweep. P stands up and waves to Snorx to follow him. P changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Snorx looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snorx takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Snorx manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. It looks like P is going to stand back up.
P trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. P thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Snorx moves into full guard.
P scoring with punches to the head and body. P preventing the sweep. Snorx keeping moving, preventing P from controlling successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Styles P showed his dominance in that final round. I think P has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
