Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Pardo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Herman Schultz! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pardo slips a straight right by Schultz. Nice body punch from Pardo. The fight stays on the outside here - Schultz looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pardo throws the kick towards the body but Schultz avoids it. Schultz is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pardo swinging wilding here.
Schultz ducks right into an uppercut from Pardo. Pardo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Pardo misses with a wild combination.
Schultz is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Schultz has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Schultz is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. A short right from Pardo. That's one minute gone in the round. Schultz has Pardo pressed against the cage, preventing Pardo from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Schultz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Pardo lands a jab to the nose. Pardo stalks Schultz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Schultz's face. Schultz staggers backwards, shaken. Schultz throws a nice looking combination but Pardo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Schultz looks gassed! Pardo jabs at Schultz's body. Pardo connects with a body shot. Paul Pardo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Pardo dances in with a quick combination. Schultz is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Pardo snaps Schultz's head back. Schultz stumbles backwards against the cage. Pardo steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Schultz's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Schultz just didn't come prepared.
