Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Spanish Inquisition (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Spanish Inquisition! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inquisition gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Inquisition avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Anderson trying to control but Inquisition is working from the bottom. Inquisition is pulling down on Anderson's head to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inquisition is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Inquisition has Anderson pulled in close to control his posture. Anderson throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Inquisition tries to close the distance and clinch up but Anderson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Anderson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Inquisition to the mat! Inquisition manages to get full guard. Inquisition keeping full guard, as Anderson tries to pass. Anderson sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inquisition is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Anderson trying to control but Inquisition is working from the bottom. Anderson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Inquisition dives on top into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Inquisition throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Anderson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Anderson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Inquisition throws a strike but Anderson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Anderson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Anderson won't allow Inquisition to sweep him here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Anderson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Anderson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Inquisition moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Inquisition fails in his attempt to clinch. Anderson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Inquisition takes a swing at Anderson's ribcage but misses. Anderson keeps the fight on the outside. Inquisition looks to land a combination but Anderson avoids it well. Anderson digs a good body shot into Inquisition's ribs. Anderson on the wrong end of a nice hook. Inquisition tries to clinch but Anderson is having none of it. The Spanish Inquisition seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Inquisition throws a leg kick but Anderson sees it coming and moves out of range. Inquisition is looking to clinch. Anderson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Anderson is trying to control the action in half guard but Inquisition is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Inquisition is staying active underneath Anderson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Inquisition is defending against the submission attempts here by Anderson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Inquisition blocking the ground and pound attempt from Anderson. Anderson is keen to just control but Inquisition is a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Inquisition moves in looking to clinch but Anderson pushes him off. Anderson ducks under a wild hook from Inquisition. Inquisition tries to clinch but Anderson moves out of range. Anderson misses with a takedown attempt - Inquisition sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Inquisition wants to clinch. Inquisition shoots and misses so Anderson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Anderson wants to pass the guard but Inquisition is keeping the position. Anderson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson wants to control from the top but Inquisition keeps moving. Anderson with a flurry of punches that miss. Anderson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Anderson won't allow Inquisition to sweep him here. Inquisition avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Anderson dominated that second round. That's time! Anderson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Inquisition moves in looking to clinch but Anderson pushes him off. Inquisition tries to clinch but Anderson moves out of range. Anderson closes the distance and clinches up with Inquisition, looking for a takedown. Anderson pushes Inquisition against the cage but Inquisition circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Anderson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Inquisition scores with a hook to the body. Anderson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. A head kick misses from Inquisition. Inquisition throws a lazy head kick and Anderson counters with a single leg into guard. Inquisition didn't expect that. Inquisition controls Anderson momentarily but Anderson frees himself. Jason Anderson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Anderson postures up in Inquisition's guard and throws a big left but Inquisition blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inquisition looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anderson is one step ahead there. Inquisition keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully. Anderson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Inquisition tries to land a sweep but no joy. Inquisition being controlled here, momentarily. Anderson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Inquisition throws a shot from downtown. Anderson moves away and avoids it. Anderson scores a takedown into full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inquisition blocking the ground and pound. Inquisition tries to hold on but Anderson postures up. Inquisition is working to get back to half guard.
Inquisition wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Anderson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Inquisition wants to hold on but Anderson pushes him away. Anderson controlling the position easily from mount. Anderson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Inquisition is now in Anderson's guard. A big mistake from Anderson there, giving up the dominant position!
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Anderson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Anderson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
