Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kerry King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enrico Carandang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kerry King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Enrico Carandang! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King cracks the inside of Carandang's front leg. Carandang looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. King fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. King misses with a two punch combination.
King turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A solid leg kick lands there for King.

King stuns Carandang with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. King closes the distance and clinches. Carandang takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Enrico Carandang has been cut. King has picked Carandang up - he's going for a ride! King dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. King scores with a couple of good hammerfists. King knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carandang on the ground. Carandang is trying to defend against the ground and pound but King scores with a couple of nice shots. Carandang is trying to get back to full guard. King lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Carandang trying to control from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carandang looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Carandang tries to get to full guard but King has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. King not landing any meaningful shots this time. Carandang is staying active underneath King, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Carandang will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. King comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. King thuds his shin into the meat of Carandang's side. King defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Carandang. Carandang circles away from the clinch attempt.
Carandang shoots for a takedown but King saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kerry King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Enrico Carandang. Carandang shoots in and bounces King off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Carandang decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Carandang closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Carandang. King strikes from the bottom but Carandang uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Carandang is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but King is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Carandang blocks the strikes from King.
King is looking for a sweep. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Carandang with the ground and pound but King regains half guard under the barage of strikes. King is looking to improve his position.
Carandang seems to be looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King actively working from the bottom here. Carandang is keen to just control but King is a slippery customer. Carandang might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control King kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. King misses with a wild combination.
Carandang changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. King tries to avoid it but Carandang manages to keep hold of a leg and drag King to the ground. King escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. King feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Carandang's calf. Carandang shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts King as he jumps to the side. Carandang tries to keep at a distance but King has taken the fight into the clinch. Carandang lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt King or not. Carandang takes a knee right on the jaw!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. King is leaning against Carandang and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. King tries to land a knee to the head but Carandang blocks with his arms.

Carandang is trying to break free. King throws a knee to the head but misses.
Carandang drops down looking for an ankle pick but King pulls his leg out and moves away.
King moves into the clinch successfully.
Carandang has dropped down and is working for a takedown. King is trying to keep an underhook but Carandang manages to get the takedown into half guard. King tries to roll over but Carandang keeps him under control. Carandang missing with the ground and pound from half guard. King has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Carandang is working away from the top position though. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Carandang passes to full mount! King can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kerry King dominated that round. The cut man is working on Enrico Carandang's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Carandang looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? King is fending him off so far but Carandang persists. Nope, King circles away and we're back to standing. Carandang takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. The fight moves into the clinch position. Carandang can't get the takedown.

King gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. King with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Carandang gets control of King's arms and successfully pulls guard. Carandang will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Carandang had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. King is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Carandang Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take King's back instead. Carandang is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. King is defending well though. Carandang let's go of the attempt for now. King looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. King tries to roll but Carandang sticks to his back.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carandang looking for the RNC. Carandang keeps control of the position as King tries to break free.
King prevents Carandang from getting a body triangle. Well, with Carandang on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before King is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Carandang has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for King. King rolls, trying to escape but Carandang keeps control of the position.
King is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Carandang can do to turn this around? Carandang lands shots from the back. King preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Carandang.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Will Carandang go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Carandang tightening his grip on King, looking for the choke. King tries to escape but Carandang has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Carandang punishes King with strikes from the back mount. King wants to get back to his feet. King prevents Carandang from getting a body triangle.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King wants to get back to his feet. Carandang is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. King has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Carandang has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! King taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Carandang doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Enrico Carandang!
